Sea World

Grandma gave us Sea World passes for Christmas and it has been so fun to be able to go as often as we want.  Cameron is in love with all animals and has been so amazed at all that we have seen. It has given us the opportunity to learn so much about ocean animals.  We will be so sad when the year ends and we have to move on from visiting these animals every couple of months.

Taking pictures with the animals at the entrance

This was such a cute moment.  He was so excited.

They even have rides at Sea World.  I love these kids.

Chad's favorite - the penguins

We have actually seen the Polar Bear awake a few times, which is actually
very rare because they sleep almost 18 hours a day.

This walrus is ginormous!

Checking out the Sea Turtles

They loved this Sea Turtle game and have downloaded it on my phone since then.  :)

My favorite - the dolphins.  We have had many opportunities to feed and pet them.
The first time we went, we got there right there when the park opened.  The dolphins were so excited that people were back in the park.  They just stayed right by the glass and watched us for the longest time.  One of my favorite moments there so far.

Cameron's favorite - the Manta Rays.  He spent a good hour just petting, watching, and feeding them while the bigger kids rode the Manta Ray roller coaster. He would have been fine to stay here all day.

The best part of Sea World - killer whales and Shamu.  We were up above and they were honestly interacting with the guests on their own.  They stayed in this position for a good while and looked up and when I took this picture, it really looked like they were smiling.

So cute - they were cuddling.

One of the whales had a baby in February and David actually got a picture of him nursing.  In the Shamu show, he just followed his mom around the whole time.  Sometimes he would perform and do what she did, but other times he just floated around and followed along.  It was so cute to watch.

Another one of Cameron's favorites - the underwater shark tunnel.  This is just like in the movie Jaws and I am always a little relieved when it is over.  :)
