Mt. Rubidoux Nature Center

In the spring Cameron's preschool class went on a field trip to the Mt. Rubidoux Nature Center.  This field trip was made for Cameron.  The second we got out of the car and walked up to the door of the nature center, the kids looked over and saw a coyote walking around nearby.  I was actually a little nervous, but the director said that the animals are used to seeing people and that we didn't need to be afraid.  I was still glad to get inside!

Cameron and his friend Aubyrnne.

On a nature hike, walking over a bridge.

Every now and then, Cameron would turn around to make sure I was still following behind.

There was an enormous bush that had a tunnel of leaves under it that the kids could crawl through.  It was pretty cool and Cameron was excited to find his way out.

Yes, he was also excited to be able to pet a snake.  Yuck!

Lining up for a quick snack of apples and string cheese at the end of the visit.  Such a cute group in the Busy Bees class.
