He helped me get all ready the morning of his party and here he is giving one of the dinosaur prizes a kiss. :)
Dinosaur footprints leading the kids to our front door....
Cameron loved his dinosaur cake.....thank you Costco!
Once the animals started to arrive, Cameron thought he was the coolest kid ever.
We had our very own park ranger in our back yard that taught the kids about each of the animals and gave everyone a chance to pet them. Honestly, it was the coolest thing ever. I felt like this party was made for Cameron. We had goats, sheep, chickens, a turkey, ducks, a turtle, a guinea pig, a snake, and a humongous iguana.
Can you just see the joy in his smile? Love it!
Some of us were not so happy to hold the snake....what a nice daddy.
We played a few games, including a reptile egg hunt, hot potato (dinosaur style),
and even had a piñata out in the rain. :)
Chad and Uncle Ryan ended up having to finish breaking it open for us. It turned out to be one tough dinosaur!
We had a pizza lunch and lots of reptile snacks.
Opened presents....
Sang happy birthday and ate some yummy chocolate cake. Cameron loved every minute of the attention. :)
On the morning of Cameron's actual birthday, we had our traditional donut breakfast. The kids LOVE donuts and so it was very exciting as you can see. :) That night we had a bunch of friends and their kids over for New Years Eve. It was like a whole other birthday party for Cameron. He was pretty spoiled this year.
Happy 5th birthday to one of the funniest and most spunky kids I know. We love you Cameron for keeping us happy and entertained. You are such a light in our family. You are so smart, learning how to read, and just love life. <3>3>
