Baseball Season

Both Chad and Cameron had an awesome season of baseball and really enjoyed their teams.  They improved so much and it was always fun to watch.  They looked like twins in their uniforms....both of them love red so it turned out great.  Chad was on the Cincinnati Reds and Cameron was on the Philadelphia Phillies.  Opening day was in March and I had to take the opportunity to take some cute pictures of them together.

Cameron played t-ball and his coach turned out to be a great friend of mine.  Cynthia was Chad's coach last season and she is so great with the boys.

He loved playing first base at the first game and did such a great job of fielding all of the balls and tagging the players out.  He even ended up with the game ball that night.  He was so proud of himself.

Game Ball!!

Cameron also loved to play catcher and put on all the gear.

Chad also had an amazing coach who taught the boys a lot about the game.
He was so patient and yet disciplined and really developed each of the boys strengths.
Chad improved greatly on his hitting and had some amazing hits.

He worked a lot on pitching during practices.  He never had the opportunity in a game because this was his first year playing at this level, but I am pretty sure he will have the opportunity to pitch in the future.  A left handed pitcher is pretty special.  He loves to pitch and always gives it 100%.

Coming into home plate to score a run for his team.

Chad ended up with the game ball soon after Cameron.  He played such a great game.  He caught a pop fly and threw it to first for a double play.  Then when it was a his turn to hit, he hit a double!

Playing games with friends

Because Chad's team had such a great playing record (they only lost 2 games), they went into the playoffs at the end of the season.  They ended up winning first place in their bracket and so it was very exciting for the entire team and their families.

Getting his medal!

 FIRST PLACE!!

  Awesome job Reds!!
