Baseball Opening Day

Cameron has watched Chad play baseball the last few years and has been dying to have a turn.  We found a neighboring league that would allow four year olds to play t-ball and so he finally had his chance!  Opening Day turned out to be on the same day, but we were able to go to both events.  We are looking forward to a great season!  Here are some fun pictures from Opening Day and Cameron's first game.

The way that we found a team for Cameron worked out perfectly.  Chad's teacher has a nephew that was starting t-ball at the exact same time, and her husband and brother-in-law were coaching.  He ended up on their team, the Rangers, and we had a great time.

We were EXTREMELY excited when we heard that Chad would be playing for the Angels.  We are big Angel baseball fans so it was fun to root for our home team.  I think Chad thought he was cool when he decided to wear his hat like that.

I love these pictures of my boys.

Ready for the first game!

Cameron really did well on his first game, but I have never seen anything so funny before.  The parents were having a great time watching the kids all go after the same ball, dogpile each other, and then not even know where the ball went and where to throw it.  It was so cute, but they quickly learned what was supposed to happen when and have been improving a lot!
