Chad and Cameron both had a blast playing baseball this year! Thank goodness Chad was on the Angels, because David pretty much refuses to yell for any other team. He had a REALLY hard time saying "Go Rangers!" Cameron's coach was the husband of one of our favorite teachers at Promenade. His coach was really competetive. One of the funniest things that happened during the season was toward the end when Coach Mike was laying into the boys a little about playing and trying harder. Cameron looked straight at him and said, "But Coach, we're only four years old!" Seriously--the things this kid comes up with. He loved playing though and it was a good introduction to baseball for him.
Chad was on a great team of boys that we know from Promenade. We were so thankful that we kept him in Rookie ball. He grew as a player and improved his skills so much. He loved playing catcher, first base and pitcher--and hit just about every time that he was up to bat. He was given the game ball twice during the season and was so excited. We were really proud of him and are looking forward to watching him continue to improve as he moves up a level in the Spring.
