Christmas Celebrations

The advantage of having divorced parents and all of our families in the same area is that we get to celebrate Christmas MANY times in one season!  We enjoyed spending time with Grandpa and Mary, Oma, and Grandma during the holidays.

Grandpa and Mary's House
So sad that I just realized we never got a picture with Grandpa and Mary!

The best gift of the season!!  Thank you to all of the family for chipping in to get the Wii for the kids!

Oma's House

Kylie, Chad and Cameron were asked to sing Away in a Manger for our Relief Society Christmas Dinner and I didn't even remember to take a picture.  I was crying the whole time.  :)  It was so sweet - they memorized all of the words and even had some harmony in the chorus.  They really touched a lot of sisters the night they sang, so I thought it would be neat to have them sing at my Mom's house for the family too.

Gabriela and Natalie sang too!  Gabriela is learning Spanish at school and sang Rudolph in Spanish.
 So awesome!

After we left Oma's house...we came home and got ready for Santa Clause to come!  Little did we know that we would be woken up a few short hours later!

You would think that a power outage at 2am would be no big deal--right?  Well, when your fire alarm goes off at the same time, it certainly is!  Christmas Eve, pitch black, fire alarm going off = children in complete panic.  Yep, Santa set our fire alarms off and caused the power to go out in the neighborhood.  To top it all off, something happened at the condo's next to us, so fire trucks, police and paramedics with lights and sirens joined our uprising!  It kept us up for a good three hours.  Back to sleep finally around 5am and up early for presents!  It certainly was a Christmas Eve (and Christmas) to remember.  Can you see how excited the kids are about being awake at such an early hour?

Grandma's House

How many Grandma's do you know that can play Twister with family??

Christmas Morning
