Winter Basketball

Chad loves basketball. It's kind of funny, because you wouldn't think so. He is not the tallest kid in second grade, but he doesn't care. This season he went right out there and acted like he was. He was a great defender and had his arms in the air, determined to block even those kids that were twice his size. He was not afraid to go for the ball at all. I was really impressed. He had a few assists to some great shots, but unfortunately never had the chance to score one on his own. I keep telling him that this will come with time. He can shoot and score at home when he practices, but not with all the defenders around him at a game. He worked really hard this season and practiced a lot. He loved every minute of it and it is so much fun to watch him enjoy things.
