Halloween Time!

We had our annual Halloween photo shoot at the pumpkin patch this year. David always complains and the kids try their best to make me happy. I have to be fast, or I start to get their fake and cheesy smiles. I loved the way they turned out and only picked a few of my favorites. (Just imagine how many pictures we actually took!) We had a great time picking out pumpkins, sliding on slides and bounce houses and eating some yummy junk food. At the end of the night, we came home and made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I think I have a new favorite kind of cookie - they were so good. We had fun delivering them to some friends that night too.

The next night the kids carved the pumpkins with David. Thank goodness for Dad's. I have to say, I do not enjoy this process. I am always just the one taking pictures. Kylie and Chad loved it, and Cameron cried. He could not stand the yucky stuff touching his fingers. It was hilarious. After I washed off is hands he had a great time watching, and telling Daddy what he wanted the face to look like. I think they did a great job.

The kids costumes this year were really fun. Kylie was a pioneer girl (her play costume) for one night's party, and then a cowgirl the other night. Cameron was a pirate, and Grandma made Chad's angry bird costume. They all looked very cute!

Cameron had a little party and parade at preschool and he loved every minute of it. It was fun to listen to them sing their "scary" songs to the parents, and he really got into it. He has some good friends that he met last year at school, and they have so much fun together. Check out the pictures from his fun Halloween day at school.

Last, but not least, Trick or Treating and a Halloween party at the kids' school. It was a busy month but the kids had a blast. I love making memories with the family and all of the holidays are the best times. I always loved Halloween and it is fun to watch my kids enjoy it too. We met up with a bunch of neighbor friends while we were out trick or treating. It has been so much fun to watch them all grow up. I am so glad I have a picture of all of them together. Here are some pics from Halloween night!
