Red Ribbon Assembly

On Friday of Red Ribbon Week, the kids were supposed to wear red.  We thought it would be fun to have the boys go with red hair too.  They thought they were so cool and so I had to get some pictures. 

Cameron and the rest of the kindergarteners also had the opportunity to perform with a flash mob during the Red Ribbon Week assembly and completely surprised the rest of the school.  It was so cute.  They had been practicing for a long while and were so excited to get up and dance.  Cameron and his friend Maddie were chosen to go up first, and then gradually the rest of the kinder kids started to come up a few at a time.  They did the cha cha slide taught to them by their lunch supervisor, Mrs. Yvette.   Cameron told me just before the assembly started that he was actually a little bit nervous, but he didn't show it once he got up to perform.  It was really fun to watch him.  He definitely likes attention, just not sure about large crowds.  :)
