Baseball Opening Day

Cameron has watched Chad play baseball the last few years and has been dying to have a turn.  We found a neighboring league that would allow four year olds to play t-ball and so he finally had his chance!  Opening Day turned out to be on the same day, but we were able to go to both events.  We are looking forward to a great season!  Here are some fun pictures from Opening Day and Cameron's first game.

The way that we found a team for Cameron worked out perfectly.  Chad's teacher has a nephew that was starting t-ball at the exact same time, and her husband and brother-in-law were coaching.  He ended up on their team, the Rangers, and we had a great time.

We were EXTREMELY excited when we heard that Chad would be playing for the Angels.  We are big Angel baseball fans so it was fun to root for our home team.  I think Chad thought he was cool when he decided to wear his hat like that.

I love these pictures of my boys.

Ready for the first game!

Cameron really did well on his first game, but I have never seen anything so funny before.  The parents were having a great time watching the kids all go after the same ball, dogpile each other, and then not even know where the ball went and where to throw it.  It was so cute, but they quickly learned what was supposed to happen when and have been improving a lot!

Easter Fun

Cameron celebrated Easter at preschool with a parade and party. He was such a cute egg and loved waving to everyone as he went by. What will I do when I don't have a preschooler anymore. I love this age!  I love the picture of him and his friends laying on the floor at school reading a book.  So cute!

This year we decorated eggs with our neighbors Delaney and Vincenzo.  It was so warm that day that the kids were out playing in the water before we dyed the eggs.  I think they had a great time.  It was fun to do something different this year.

Easter morning....they are all ready to go down and hunt for eggs left by the Easter Bunny.  Kylie is wearing the cute new hat that the Easter Bunny left her.

All ready for church and then Oma's and Grandma's house!

Sweetheart Dance

Every year at the kids school we have the Sweetheart Dance right around Valentine's Day.  It is something that all the kids look forward to and there are soooo many people there.  It is always a lot of fun.....check out my cute pictures!

Sweetheart Dance.....Disco Style!

This is Kylie and Chad's first grade teacher who just so happens to be a DJ on the side.
How lucky are we?  We love Mr. D!

I was so excited when Chad jumped into the middle of the dance circle that I forgot to take pictures.
I so wish I had some of his awesome moves.  Spinning on his head, standing on his hands, or some other cool trick like that.  He is a stud!  So fun to see him cut loose sometimes.  He can be so serious!
We had a great night with friends and family.

Hollywood Dance Experience

The only other gift Kylie wanted for her birthday this year was to be able to go to Hollywood Dance Experience in LA.  She has become very serious about dancing and it is the main thing she has decided to focus on in the future.  We have never sent her to this convention before because it is pretty expensive.  Thank you to all of our family members that pitched in for her birthday so that she could go.  The owner of her studio works for this convention, as well as many of her other studio teachers.  Kids from all over the country come to LA to learn dance in all areas from some pretty amazing choreographers and instructors.  She spent two full days learning hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, and lyrical.  I got to watch the majority of the time, and it was a great experience for her.

Her current Hip Hop teacher Mr. Devin - who also works for HDE

Here is Miss Kamila helping with Ballet - she is the director at Kylie's studio.

Miss Kristy is the owner of Kylie's studio, and also is a director at HDE.

At the end of the two days, there was a competition.  Kylie has recently joined the studio's competition team and is looking forward to a great season.  This was her first time competing and it was awesome!  She loved it!  Check out the pics of the whole team.  I am so impressed with their talent.

This is Mr. Jason Meyr, the most exciting teacher at convention.  He works with singers like Madonna and Rihanna, and Kylie thought it was pretty cool to learn some things from him!

Overall, it was an amazing opportunity and a great experience.
I am hoping to be able to send her again next year!
