Cameron Turns Three!!!

Cameron's birthday was such a fun day. He was born on a fun day to begin with, and having a birthday that day makes it that much better! Our New Year's Eve was filled with fun from morning until the new year began. We even let the kids try and stay up....more on that later! :)

He started the day opening presents....

Then, he had his very first birthday party with friends at Pump it Up! They were hosting a New Year's Eve countdown event for a small group of kids. Cameron thought that the entire event was all about him and had no idea that other kids were even there. It was a lot of fun. They bounced, shot nerf gun balls, slid, played air hockey, and counted down to "New Year's Eve." Everyone got hats and blowers and rang in the "New Year" (at noon) singing happy birthday to Cameron. It was fabulous! We ended the party with pizza and sparkling cider and then came back to our house for cake and ice cream. Thank you to all of our family and friends for a fantastic 3rd birthday for Cameron!

Cameron also had a birthday celebration at preschool. He was the "Special Helper" and got to help make the juice, pass out napkins and his special #3 brownies we made at home, and he was the first in line all day! He is such a cutie.

Here are Kylie, Chad, and Cameron at about 11pm on New Year's Eve (Cameron's birthday). Cameron was asleep within five minutes after taking this picture. Chad made it until about 11:30, and Kylie fell asleep about five minutes before the New Year. So funny! They had a lot of fun trying to stay up. I think they were all amazed that we even let them try. I was actually impressed with myself that I let them stay up that late....first time EVER being up that late!
