A cute picture prior to getting her ears pierced!!!

10:30 am That's right....that morning, Kylie and I went to the mall so that she could get her ears pierced. I promised her at about three years old that when she was 8, she could pierce her ears. I never thought that she would hold me to that, but she always has. I thought for sure that she would chicken out - but she didn't. She was very brave and cried for about a minute afterwards and then was ecstatic!!!! Here is what they looked like for about two weeks (please see a future post!).
1pm Rollerskating Party!
This was Kylie's first time inviting boys and girls to a party and we had so much fun. She is surrounded by some great kids at school and church and we had a blast! The rink is a flashback to the 80's when we used to rollerskate, but it was awesome. I was amazed at how packed the place was....apparently rollerskating is still awesome!
Here are some pictures from the party, skating, presents, food, and fun. If you have been following our blog then you are very aware of Kylie's friend Jacob. They started kindergarten together and have been good friends ever since. It was fun to watch them interact at the party. They are in different classes for the first time this year, and it has been a little adjustment! :) Looking forward to watching them go through school together! He's a cute kid....
We had a wonderful day! Here's why we love Kylie so much!!! Kylie is such a great big sister. She is a good example in our home. She is so bright and talented and I know that we have a lot to look forward to. I am so thankful to have a daughter and I love spending time with her and watching her grow up...it's just going by WAY too fast!
