Writing Contest Winner

The day before Open House, Kylie heard her name on the morning announcements. She came home to tell me that she had been the first grade winner of an Earth Day writing contest. She was told to write about how we can help the environment and do our part to save the Earth. Her work was displayed with the other winners from second to fifth grade in a display case on campus. She was excited to see it hanging there, and we all had the chance to see it the night of Open House!
