Baby Birds

Apparently, the roof of our patio cover in the back yard is a great place for a bird to make a nest. This is the second year in a row that we have watched birds create a nest, lay eggs, sit on them for about a week and a half, and then the eggs hatch. It has been so much fun to watch, and our kids are learning a lot. There were four baby birds this time, and our kids watched them get bigger quickly, and got to see the mommy bird gather up food and worms and drop them into the babies mouths. Unfortunately, we missed their first flight from the nest. One day we came out to check on them, and they had already left and haven't come back since. Check out our photos!
