Kylie is a VERY proud Promenade All-Star--her school's performing group--and loves to sing, dance, and act with them! She had the opportunity to perform with this group at the Alvord Unified School District music festival. She had so much fun, and they did a great job! We were so impressed with all of the groups, and the grand finale with all of the choirs and their directors was spectacular. We look forward to MANY more of these festivals.
On a side note, as Chad was watching Kylie and the other groups perform, we had quite the unexpected, spiritual moment. Chad's words, exactly, were, "Mommy, when they are singing and dancing, I feel like I'm with Heavenly Father still!" Does that confirm anyone else's testimony, or just ours, because we thought that was pretty neat!!??
