Day Out with Thomas

We decided it was the perfect time to take Cameron to meet Thomas the train. He is pretty much in love with trains, and plays with them all day. He loves to watch Thomas on T.V. in the mornings and knows all of the characters on the show. Thomas was coming to our area in November, and he only comes once a year. I was worried that he might not be as excited next year - so we decided to go! I am SO GLAD that we did. We had so much fun and it was awesome to see it all through his eyes. It was also wonderful to have one on one time with just David, Cameron, and I....something that pretty much never happens. Here are some fun things we did that day.

Very excited when we finally
told him where we were going!

The best part of the day for him was
just playing with all of the different
train tables at the end of the day!
He could have stayed there for hours!
Such a cute boy!

Sharks Soccer Party

Another year of soccer ended and we had our team party on a Friday night at the busiest pizza place in town. The kids had lots of fun playing games, eating, and receiving their trophies. Chad had a great season and really improved from last year. He is getting more and more aggressive and really getting into the game. The most goals he scored in one game was six - and he was very proud! I think he was even more proud of his trophy!

Julie's Wedding Day

My aunt Julie and uncle Rick were married on October 24th in San Diego. It was a beautiful day and Kylie had the opportunity to be a flower girl. Right before the ceremony started, I thought she might back out. I haven't really ever seen her that nervous. But, she held it together and did a fantastic job. I know that she will always remember that experience.

It rained a little that night, but it was gorgeous outside for the ceremony. We had lots of fun at the ceremony and the kids had a great time dancing out on the dance floor for a little while before the reception began. We stayed overnight in a hotel room that night and enjoyed our little getaway from home.

What a beautiful couple and a beautiful wedding day!

Haircut

Just wanted to have pictures for Kylie to remember her long lost hair! We cut off a lot that day and she is loving it. Doesn't want to grow it back out anytime soon. I think she looks cute both ways!

Apple Picking

I have always wanted to go apple picking, but somehow never remember when that time of the year comes around. We finally remembered this year, right at the end of the season, but we had a great time. We spent the day with Oma, Angela, Gabriela, Natalie, and Grandma. Here are some pictures from Oak Glen at Riley's Colonial Farm. Can't wait to go again next year!

What do you think?

This is Cameron holding a picture of Chad when he was two. I wish you could see it better - but they look EXACTLY the same. Too cute!

Kylie and Chad - Our Little Award Winners

So proud of our kids and the work they do in school. In September Kylie was awarded student of the month AND recieved a trophy for earning the highest scores in 2nd grade (last year) for the Language Arts section of the California state test they take in the spring. In November Chad was given the outstanding writer award in his class and brought home an amazing first trimester report card. Here are some awesome award pics!
