Welcome Baby Natalie!

Lauriann's sister Angela and her husband, David, welcomed a beautiful baby girl on Monday, June 16, 2008--Natalie Catina Deyhimy. She was born just before 9am and weighed in at 7lbs., 3 oz. and 18 inches long. We are so excited that she is finally here--healthy and ready to cause some trouble!

Chad's T-Ball

The city of Corona offers some great programs, and one that Chad took advantage of was a 3-4 year old t-ball clinic. He is having a great time with it!

Our daddy is SO smart!

After nearly two years of hard work and dedication, David graduated with his Masters degree in Educational Leadership and an Administrative Credential from Cal Poly Pomona. We all went to the ceremony on Father's Day (How fitting!), and even though it was very warm, it was quite enjoyable. We are all very proud of him and are looking forward to where this education leads him in his career. (Just in time, too, because he was called as our ward's Elders Quorum President the week before--I guess now that he has more time...)

Summer Fun with Cameron (and the Gang)

It's hard to believe that Cameron is almost six months old now! He is such a cute little guy and has an absolutely contagious smile. He is so much fun! He loves his brother and sister, books, rolling around on the floor, the pool, and his bouncy seat--so much so that he falls asleep in it. He's also started with cereal and a bottle--but he doesn't enjoy either yet! We've enjoyed a few times in our neighbor's pool these past few weeks--thank goodness for them since it has been so hot. Cameron's first time in the pool got a mixed reaction--at first he wasn't so sure, but then he warmed up to it!
We also took Cameron to the beach for the first time. He really didn't like it, but once he was fed and asleep, things were good. David's Aunt, cousin and her family came down from Utah this week for a visit to Disneyland and we were able to spend an afternoon and evening with them at Huntington Beach. It was so much fun--we wish we could see them more often! Kylie loved playing with their twin girls, Cydney and JayC. Chad and Tessa liked the sand more than the waves. David's Mom and Aunt and Uncle from Anaheim were also able to join us. Check out the cool sand wheelchair that the beach provides--just rolls right across the sand. We were impressed! We all had such a great time, which ended with a bonfire, hot dogs, and s'mores! Who could ask for anything more...??

Kylie is a First Grader Now!

Kylie finished Kindergarten on June 6th! She was sad to leave Kindergarten and her teacher, but is excited to be approaching first grade now. On her last day, her class took a little outing over to Promenade Park and had some play time, food, and a little awards ceremony. Kylie really enjoyed Kindergarten--and now we look forward to next year!

Rolling with the Homies

We went rollerskating with the Hills when they were down here for Memorial Day weekend. Jeff thought he was really awesome and Kylie actually was...she has really turned out to love rollerskating and Lauriann has taken her a couple of times now. She can't get enough! Funny! Chad had a hard time doing it, so David sacrificed his precious rollerskating time to go play video games with him instead. (You can tell he was absolutely devastated!) We love it when the Hills come visit us, and are excited they are moving to Las Vegas--it's much easier and quicker to get to than central California. We are headed up to Pismo Beach for one last time at their awesome house up there for the 4th of July and Isaac's baptism. We can't wait for them to move back to Southern California...they're slowly inching their way back!

Chad Finishes Preschool!

Chad finished preschool a couple of weeks ago! He loved everything about it--his teachers, the crafts, games, playing in the sandbox, and the girls! He's quite a charmer and likes the 'little girls.' (David is particularly proud of his abilities in that department!) His class ended the year with a water party at one of the family's houses. He is really looking forward to going to school three days a week next year!
