Father's Day Fun

Every year on Father's Day, we try and show David how much we love him.  He is very loved and we want to make sure he knows.  Sundays are busy days for David and so we had to be very creative.  In the morning before he leaves, we usually make some kind of yummy breakfast in bed.  This year, David started to drink protein shakes for breakfast, and so we made him the yummiest one we could.  :)  We left him a note with a funny poem because we felt bad for him.

When he got home from his meetings, we had a scavenger hunt set up for him to help him find out what his next surprise was going to be.  He looked for clues all over the house and then found his last clue in the refrigerator with a little airplane attached.

The kids were very excited to take him to one of his favorite places...the airport!  We went and watched airplanes at LAX at two of his favorite spots.  Anyone that knows David knows that this was the perfect place to be on Father's Day.

We had a really nice afternoon watching airplanes together and then showing the kids around LA a little.  It was a great day to show David how much we appreciate him.  He is a loving husband and father and he works very hard to support our family.  He is good at everything he does and is a great example to those around him.  We are so blessed that he is ours.
