Bye Bye Baby Hair!

As you can see from the last posted photos....Cameron needed a haircut. He had some long fluffy hair flying around on top, and lots of yucky "old man" hair growing in the back. It was definitely time....I have been wanting to do it all summer. I was holding out hope that the hairdresser who has cut my hair since I was 14 would take me back (she was apparently upset after I went to someone else for a free haircut from my mom....once....and I was honest about going and told her I'd be back). She has done each and every haircut for Kylie and Chad, and I have her on video and in pictures doing their first cuts. Unfortunately, according to my sister who is stilled allowed to come to her, she was just too upset to take me back. (Seriously....this is a true story).

So....I needed to find someone else I trust to do a first haircut for Cameron. I was really sad that he wouldn't get the same special treatment from our special hairdresser. I asked around and found some special places that would do it for thirty dollars - but I wasn't willing to spend that on a haircut for a one year old. I finally decided to take him to a place near us, but I was very nervous. What can I say? It was great, easy, and I'm glad I went. In true Ferguson fashion, Cameron sat so still and loved looking at himself in the mirror (just like his brother and sister). He loved it and I think he knew how handsome he was when they were finished! I was able to save some hair like I did for Kylie and Chad, and I even got a little certificate at the end - it was great!

Here's to a great hair day!!! (Oh...except that he had just faceplanted onto the sidewalk and scraped up his head pretty bad!)

Getting all Ready!

Still happy!

Checking himself out in the mirror!

She had to have a kiss when they were done!

I love my new haircut!
