A Fun Fourth of July Weekend

We had a really great Fourth of July weekend--thanks to Grandma! She offered to take us all to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach on Friday. The kids had a great time exploring all of the animals there. We all agreed that the sea otters and sting rays were our favorites. Kylie and Chad both got to pet a sting ray!

On Saturday, we went to the community parade at Grandma's association in Irvine. It was cute and the kids had a lot of fun collecting the candy that was being thrown. The rest of the day was spent at Grandma's lagoon swimming, going down the water slides, playing in the sand and just having a good time. We barbecued in the evening with Aunt Mary and then watched the Woodbridge firewooks at a different little beach near Grandma's house.

It was a great day and we hope you all had a great, patriotic Fourth of July!! We are certainly proud of our country and love the freedoms we all enjoy!

I think the fourth is the best because it means family time! It was fun seeing your dad and mary in Hyrum. I love all the dance pictures of Kylie. Good luck gettin on that plane-you'll have such a good time. Just one night away sounds wonderful and I only have one kid!
