Okay....so this may be totally inappropriate - but I have to share how awesome our room was in Lake Arrowhead. We got a great deal online, and because we were celebrating David's birthday, I wanted to do something special. I called ahead to the concierge (a job I formerly held, so I know what these girls can do) and arranged to have the room "turned down" before we arrived. Here's the picture.....does anyone watch The Bachelor? Seriously...I felt like I was on one of their "fantasy suite dates!" It was awesome - and seriously not that expensive to do!
When we finally left the room (j/k) we had a great weekend. The weather was perfect and it was beautiful outside. We took a walk/hike around the lake, shopped, ate out, saw a movie, ate out, and slept in. Thank goodness....we needed the sleep to prepare us for hell week when we returned. Thank you to our moms for keeping the kids - can't wait to do it again! Sound good?
We had a great time trying to take pictures of ourselves. This one is our favorite! Looking forward to our next getaway! :)

On another note, whatever...you said you check my blog for baby updates but I don't see a comment form you. Hehehehe...totally kidding with you. Hope to see you guys soon; we miss you guys.
What a cute picture of the two of you! And what a great weekend! Dan and I have our Anniversary coming up and I would love to go somewhere. So, how much does it cost to have them do that to the room?
